Kalyana Jyothi an association of Matrimonial Information Centre Organizers who have been rendering free voluntary services and have helped many brahmin families in settlement of the marriages in their families for the past over couple of years.
Mrs. Kamala Narayana Rao and Mrs.Movva Visalakshy, who were dedicated for the matrimonial services for the past several years, have felt the need to conduct FREE Matrimonial Convention and provide vast data of the prospective Brahmin Brides & Grooms. They, in association with Mrs. Aruna Rao, Social Worker, Mr. Akkipeddi Nageswara Rao, Retired Bank Officer, Mr.K V R V Ramana Sarma, Retired Govt. Officer, Mr. G V Sudhakara Sarma, PSU Employee, Mr. SN Swamy, Retired Railway Officer and Mr. Ivaturi Sivakumar, Retired Bank Officer have conducted the FIRST FREE BRAHAMANA VADHU-VARA PARICHAYA VEDIKA on 02.02.2003 in the Premises of ICWAI BHAVAN, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad with the guidance and cooperation of the then Brahmin Association Leaders & Matrimonial Information Centre Organizers.
The booklet was brought out in descending order of the Date of Birth of the Brides & Grooms for the first time with bold letters, enabling the readers to go through the details easily as per their required age group. The system was appreciated by ONE AND ALL.
Thereafter this system of bringing out the Book let in the order of DATE OF BIRTH of the Brides & Grooms is being followed by many other organizations.
Followed by first convention, Kalyana Jyothi has started sharing the data of the registered Brides & Grooms with other service oriented (about sixty) Matrimonial Information Centres situate at various places of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, Bangalore, Nagpur, Berhampur etc, through their monthly free VADHU-VARA SAMAACHAARA MAALIKA. Thus gave vast publicity to the prospective Brides & Grooms and helped them to have good choice in selection of their life partners and settlement of many marriages, regularly.
Inspired by the dedicated work of Kalyana Jyothi Mr. Pulipaka Balarama Murthy, Retired Govt. Officer Mrs. Vijayakumari have joined the organization and participated in its activities.
Kalyana Jyothi has successfully conducted Annual Brahmin Vadhu -Vara Parichaya Vedika Eight times at Hyderabad and Once at Machilipatnam, Krishna Dist and provided thousands of prospective Brides & Grooms data and helped many brahmin families to select their choice of matches and celebrate marriages in their families.
The members of Kalyana Jyothi have not confined their services for the matrimonial, but also extended their voluntary services in many ways such as actively participating in the Brahmin Association Programs, helping the aged / poor Brahmin families morally & financially, extending financial assistance to poor Brahmin students to continue their education in school / college and also Veda Pathasala , rendering voluntary services in Satya Sai Seva Samithi, Hyderabad & Puttaparty, Srivari Seva at Tirumala, giving coaching to poor students etc., in addition to rendering services in the Matrimonial conventions conducted by other organizations.
At regular intervals, we use to check up with the registered Brides & Grooms about their martial status and if found married, their photographs were sent back.
Taking into consideration the suggestions we felt it would be helpful to launch website of KALYANA JYOTHI and update the data being received from various places and help the registered Brides & Grooms to have more choice in selection of their life partner. In this context the members have met many times and discussed at length among themselves and have interacted with the parents and other Matrimonial Service Organizers. The moralities of the registration etc have been made simple and helpful to the registered members, without mediation of any third person.
- Interested prospective Bride – Grooms 0r Parents should send the application form completely filled in all aspects attach a recent photograph and submit it to Kalyana Jyothi, in person or by post / courier.
- Suitable matches as per their requirments will be mailed at monthly intervals to outstation
members.

- Members can also visit the nearest MIC and have the details of the suitable matches at regular intervals.
- IT IS THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY of the registered member to inform the organization immediately after settlement of the marriage along with details of their life partner and help the organization to remove their data and there by avoid calls from others for alliance.
Kalyana Jyothi Welcomes valuable suggestions from the registered members for improvement of the services for benefit of the members at large.
